Michael Brewer is a Character Designer, Illustrator and 2D Animator based in Chicago, IL.  Brewer creates personal works that play on the themes of conflicting or unorthodox concepts and forces them together, using contrasting colors such as muted purples with vibrant greens or combining body horror with beautiful subjects.  By juxtaposing or fusing concepts such as beauty and fear or calm and uncomfortable onto one central object or subject, Brewer tries to find a way to raise dialogue as to why we feel the way we do about these particular ideas together.
